1. Data controller

2. What data we process

When you book we collect your name, email address and phone number and, if you order transport, the delivery or collection address (with its map location, to calculate the distance). We also store the booking details: items, dates, amounts, payments and communications about it.

Payment data is handled directly by Stripe: we only keep an identifier of your saved card, never its number.

3. Why and on what basis

We process your data to manage the booking and the rental (performance of the contract): confirming availability, charging the booking fee and the remaining amount, handling the deposit, organising delivery and sending you emails about your booking. We also keep it to meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation). We do not send marketing communications or share your data for advertising purposes.

4. Who we share it with

To provide the service we use providers that process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments and saved card), Supabase (booking database), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (website hosting) and Google Maps (address search and distance calculation). Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for other purposes.

5. How long we keep it

Pending bookings that are not paid expire after a few minutes and do not generate any charge. Data from confirmed bookings is kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the periods required by tax and accounting law (generally up to 6 years). The identifier of your card saved in Stripe is used only for the charges of that booking.

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to laquintapatabcn@gmail.com. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

7. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It only uses technical storage in your browser to remember your cart and language, which is essential for booking to work. The map on the contact page is served by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads.

8. Security and changes

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connections, restricted access to the management panel and signed booking links that only you receive. If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
